CLAIM, CORRECT OR REMOVE
Your listing
What claiming changes
- Your phone number on the listing. Unclaimed listings only link to your website. Once you’ve claimed yours, it can show the number you want customers to ring.
- Listed first. On each suburb page, claimed listings appear before unclaimed ones.
- Licence checked. Send us your plumbing registration or licence, or your REC number. We’ll look it up on the public register and mark it as checked on your listing.
- Details you’ve confirmed. Correct the suburbs you cover, your hours and the work you do. We only describe what your own website says until you tell us otherwise.
How we confirm it’s you
Before changing anything, we reply to an email address shown on your business’s website, or call the number on it. That stops anyone else from changing or removing your listing.
Why your business is listed
The emergency directory and its suburb pages, such as emergency plumbers in Dandenong and emergency electricians in Clayton, help people find a tradie when something goes wrong at night or on a weekend. We list businesses whose own websites advertise emergency, after-hours or same-day work, and link to the page where they say so. Nobody has paid to be listed, and a listing isn’t an endorsement.
Prefer not to be listed? Choose “Remove it from TradieToday” above and we’ll take it down once we’ve confirmed the request.
Want job posts as well?
That’s a separate, optional step: you can apply to list your business on TradieToday and quote on jobs posted in your area. You don’t need to do that to claim or correct your directory listing.
TradieToday is free for tradies for now: no commission, no subscription and no fee to quote. If that changes, we’ll tell you first, and a fee would only apply to jobs you quote after that.
